About Cat Mother and The All Night Newsboys: Greenwich Village NYC band that formed in 1967 with initial critical acclaim when securing Jimi Hendrix to produce their first LP in 1967. They disbanded in 1977 after releasing four albums that varied between psych and folk rock.
